FR// Mon rêve aurait été de porter cette tenue à bord d'un catamaran pour vous présenter plus fidèlement l'univers North Sails, à la fois dynamique et nautique. La pluie tombant, il faudra se contenter de mon vélo et de ces chers quais bordelais dont la grisaille se marie si bien avec ma tenue. Et pour cause, elle on ne peut plus minimaliste - grise et noire - avec notamment deux nouvelles pièces, toutes deux issues de la collection de North Sails : un blouson de pluie et un pull col roulé. Si j'ai évidemment d'abord été séduit par leur esthétique, ces deux éléments me paraissent surtout être incontournables pour affronter cette saison avec élégance grâce au savoir-faire technique de la marque. En effet cette veste est avant tout un bijou techwear doté d'un traitement "déperlant" ainsi que d'une doudoune sans manche amovible en guise de doublure. Un petit passant permet de maintenir son kit main libre, une poche zippé de ranger tout ce qui tomberait lorsqu'on est en mouvement. Souple et à toute épreuve donc. Concernant le pull, j'ai dans un premier temps été séduit par son esthétique et plus particulièrement le bas asymétrique et fendu, façon marinière. J'ai été doublement comblé lorsque j'ai remarqué sur l'étiquette qu'il a été fabriqué en Italie.

UK// I wish I had worn this outfit on a boat to introduce the nautical  universe of North Sails to you. However the rainy weather made me prefer riding a bike along riversides. By the way this grey tones perfectly fit my outfit so I stop complaining. Actually my clothes are pretty minimalistic - combining grey and black colors - such as  At first I was seduced by their aesthetic then I thought they are both necessary to pass winter thanks to the technical knowhow of North Sails. Indeed  the jacket is water repellent and the lining is a detachable padded jacket so I am not worry about rain ad cold anymore ! Little details : you can fix your heands-frie kit on the jacket and you can hide all your important stuffs in a zipped pocket. Everything was thought for sportive guys and it is useful in our everyday lives.  Let me end that post with two words about the sweater because I was very happy to notice that it is made in Italy when I opened the package. The bottom reminds the sailor striped shirt thanks to an asymmetric-cut finish.
